- The Mobile Veterinary Unit (Dudhshree Pashu Seva) was officially launched on 21st August 2025.
- Currently, one MVU ambulance is in operation.
- The MVU service is covering a total of six BMCs (Bulk Milk Coolers).
- The service areas include Arambagh, Medinipur, Burdwan, and Hooghly districts.
- The MVU provides doorstep veterinary healthcare, emergency care, and farmer support services.
- The initiative aims to improve animal health, enhance milk productivity, and support dairy farmers with timely veterinary assistance.
